ELMI, European Light Microscopy Initiative, is a unique communication network between European scientists working in the field of light microscopy, and the manufacturers of their equipment. The annual ELMI conference has become one of the main events of the year for hundreds of scientists, facility staff, developers and company representatives. The ELMI 2022 conference will continue the successful tradition of mixing high quality scientific talks and posters with workshops and demos of the latest imaging technologies, not forgetting social activities.

Silver, gold and platinum general sponsorship packages are available, as well as several other sponsorship possibilities, including short presentations in the main conference program. For exhibitions, demonstrations and workshops, small and large spaces are available, as well as various separate rooms and halls that can be booked.

Conference venue
ELMI 2022 takes place at Logomo, which is a major hub of culture and business very close to the Turku city center, near the main railway station and buss station.

The heart of ELMI 2022 is the Exhibition area, where companies will showcase their innovations and where lunches and coffees will be served. The conference talks will be held in the Auditorium, with posters presented in the Street and some of the other adjacent areas. Several other rooms are bookable for company workshops, on the ground floor Logi 1, Logi 2, Teatro, Gallery 1, Gallery 2, Move 1, and Move 2, and on the floor above Goto 30, Goto 31, Goto 32 and Goto 33.
Conference registration fees for company participants
- Conference registration: 575 €
- Conference registration and gala dinner: 680 €
(Note: The exhibition and sponsorship packages do not include conference registrations or catering).
VAT: Please note that the exhibition/sponsorship fees are invoiced by Aboa Congress and Event Services (VAT FI28050288) on behalf of the local organizer, the University of Turku (VAT FI02458963) whose scientific congresses are exempted from VAT.
