ELMI 2022 welcomes registrations from anyone interested! The deadline for registrations is May 16th. The deadline for early-bird registrations is April 13th. All participants are also invited to submit abstracts. See here for more information. Abstract submission deadline is extended until 8 May.

Note: June is expected to be a busy month in Turku, so please book your accommodation well in advance. See here for more information.

ELMI 2022 will be a partly hybrid event, with the scientific morning sessions available online (the afternoon workshops and poster sessions will not be available online). The organizing committee is constantly monitoring the global pandemic situation.

Registration fees

Onsite registration fees include attendance in the scientific programme, exhibition, coffee and lunch on the conference days as marked in the programme, as well as the Welcome reception on Tuesday, 7 June, and the Gala dinner* on Thursday, 9 June.
*Gala dinner is now fully booked, you may ask for possible extra tickets onsite when you arrive at the conference. 

The online participation fee includes access to the virtual conference platform where you can follow the scientific morning sessions as live stream (also available for onsite participants), and view talk recordings which are available for 2 weeks after the conference (if given the consent by the speaker). Conference abstract book is also available online.
Early bird fees are valid until 13 April 2022.
  • Early-bird, academic (until April 13th): 525 €

  • Early-bird, student (until April 13th): 420 €

  • Regular, academic & student (after April 13th): 575 €

  • Online participation: 50 €

Registration fees - company/industrial

  • Regular, company/industrial, without gala dinner: 575 €

  • Regular, company/industrial, with gala dinner: 680 €

  • Company service engineer, without gala dinner 350 €

Methods of payment

1) Credit card payment
On the registration form, choose the credit card payment and fill in the payment card details.

2) Online bank payment (for Finnish/Nordic banks only)
On the registration form, choose your bank, and you will be forwarded to the payment service.

3) PDF invoice (payment with bank transfer). An invoicing fee of 10 EUR will be added.
A PDF invoice will be sent to your e-mail address after you have submitted your registration.

4) E-invoice (for Finnish organisations only). An invoicing fee of 10 EUR will be added.
An e-invoice will be sent to the e-invoicing address provided.

Please make sure to give a correct invoicing address. An extra invoicing charge of 10 EUR will be added in case a new invoice is processed (revised PDF or e-invoice due to a wrong address, or otherwise modified).

All payments must be made in euros (EUR).

Cancellation policy & insurance

Cancellation of registration must be made in writing (email) to before 16 May 2022. No fees will be refunded after this date.  A processing fee of EUR 50 will be deducted from all refunds.

In the event that the meeting is cancelled by the Meeting Organisers, or cannot take place for any reason outside the control of the Meeting Organisers, the registration fee shall be refunded in full. The liability of the Meeting Organiser shall be limited to that refund.

Please note that the meeting participants are not covered by any insurance (travel, medical, accident or liability) taken by the Meeting Organisers. The Meeting Organisers cannot accept liability for any loss or damage suffered by any participant or accompanying person or another person during travel to and from the meeting or during the meeting. Participants are advised to consider purchasing their own travel insurance and to extend their personal policy to cover personal possessions.
